Election Commission

 

 

Function:

The Election Commission determines the eligibility of candidates seeking office; counts and verifies absentee ballots to ensure the integrity of the election process in accordance with state statute; and certifies the results of all municipal elections. Composition:

The Commission consists of three (3) members.

 Term of office is six (6) years with one (1) reappointment.

All appointees must reside in the corporate limits of the city.
